Provide schools with professional ICT support and additional technical expertise to handle the increasingly sophisticated ICT implementation in schools;
- Manage the implementation of ICT projects in schools.
- The roles and responsibilities of the ICT Executive shall be as follows:
a) Managing ICT Programs in Schools o Project manage school-initiated projects o Co-ordinate MOE HQ project roll outs for school o Ensure project implementation is adhered to MOE policies, guidelines and standards
- Provide progress updates of projects to the Head /ICT
- Prepare relevant documentations and guidelines pertaining to the project

b) Business Solution and ICT Planning o Work with the Head / ICT on gathering the ICT needs of the school
- Propose solutions that meet the requirements of the schools including technical specifications and market pricing of these solutions

c) Procurement of ICT Equipment & Services o Assist the Head / ICT in purchasing ICT Equipment & Services based on the school’s through bulk tenders, calling tenders and quotations

d) ICT Resources

ICT Trainer Role
- The appointed trainer is expected to be proficient and teach students in the following:
a) Productivity software - e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

Access, Prezi or others

b) Web design - e.g. Dreamweaver, Fireworks, HTML,

CSS, JavaScript or others

c) Graphics design - e.g. Photoshop, GIMP or others

d) Basic video production including sound editing - e.g.

Premiere, After Effects

e) Basic programming - e.g. Scratch, Alice, C++, Python or others

f) Miscellaneous technology - e.g. 3D printing, project management software or others
- Scope of work as ICT Trainer includes:
a) Design the scheme of work and syllabuses for all Year 1

& 2 Computing classes;
a) Conduct ICT lessons for Computing classes according to scheme of work;
b) Identify training needs and conduct training courses for staff and students;
c) Assist teachers in deploying ICT infused lessons and assessment to students;
d) Prepare students for ICT related competitions;
e) Assist / provide training for Infocomm Club, Art Club or other school bodies as requested;
f) Digitize past years’ exam papers to auto-mark online assessment;
g) Assist teachers in content creation and design;
h) Prepare teaching materials, exercises and projects for the students;
i) Inform/remind students about Computing schedule and take remedial action on absentees;
