[What the role is]

[What you will be working on]
- Develop and execute strategic communications plans to enhance Tote Board's brand and thought leadership in our operating spaces
- Leverage digital communications to grow our engagement with partners and industry stakeholders
- Lead the production and enhancement of key strategic and corporate comms assets, including the Annual Report, corporate video, and corporate website
- Proactively engage with media and manage media relations, including editor briefings and media interviews
- Develop speeches for senior management
- Lead overall crisis/issues management and strategy

**Requirements**:
[What we are looking for]
- Trained in general disciplines of study, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or New Media
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in public relations, communications, or corporate branding with at least two years in a supervisory role
- Strategic thinking in developing and implementing successful integrated communications campaigns
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Keen eye for news and identifying publicity and branding opportunities
- Good media relations and strong people skills to manage internal and external stakeholders at an advanced level
- Sense and manage social, cultural and political sensitivities
- Interest in social sector developments and the non-profit sector

**Note: This is a fixed term contract position.**
