The Senior GCC Analyst provides first line support to customers of CME Group for technical, product, trading, and market-event enquiries. In this role, the Senior GCC Analyst works regularly in a customer-facing capacity to deliver informational assistance via telephone and electronic means. Performing analysis on market conditions and monitoring order flow in a challenging fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following**:

- Develop ad-hoc queries and perform data analysis to create data driven solutions to support or change policy, process, procedures, and technology
- Field customer enquiries relating to market events, connectivity, business technology, and products
- Evaluate and monitor market activity and order flow for efficiency and anomalous behavior
- Perform investigations for both internal and external clients - be able to articulate difficult and complex problems and solutions to a broad range of audiences

**Qualifications**:

- Prior customer support experience in a customer facing position
- A solid knowledge of FX Spot markets, Futures, Options and/or OTC products across Commodities, Equity, Interest Rates and FX Derivative Markets
- Experience with leading industry charting/news platforms, such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters Eikon, CQG and front-end trading platforms

**Additional desirable qualifications**:

- Experience working with big data, visualizations, and automation
- Experience with relationship-based (quote-driven) trading.
- Familiarity with client-facing support on trading, market data and STP API protocols (especially FIX and TOF)
- Involvement with Python libraries such as Pandas an NumPy
- Comprehend investigative and analytical tools such as Splunk and Corvil
- Tenacious with a can-do initiative and a strong desire to learn
- Team player with the ability to work independently

**Experience**:

- Previous experience within trading, technical support, market analysis and customer support
- Demonstrate strong communication, written and problem-solving skills
- Advanced understanding of electronic trading
- Advanced Excel, VBA, Tableau a plus

**Language Requirements**:

- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Proficiency in other languages a plus (Japanese in particular)

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field
