**About the role**

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Analyst to join Avalere Health’s specialist market access consultancy capability, Policy, Access, Value and Evidence (PAVE). The role will involve working within a team on data synthesis, developing deliverables for clients to include strategic insights and recommendations, therefore your ability to interpret data from a variety of sources and communicate these effectively is essential.

Analysts will also project manage small scale projects including managing the day-to-day delivery of projects, and project teams to time, budget and the highest quality, this will involve:

- Presenting sections / subtasks of deliverables to the client
- Working alongside the Project Lead to develop strategic insights and recommendations for

clients
- Report financial project update data accurately to aid business planning

This role includes shaping, selling and delivering both traditional and innovative global value engagement market access consultancy solutions to meet the current and emerging needs of pharma/ biotech global market access teams. The senior director will report into the GVE Practice Lead and will be expected to take a leadership role within the GVE practice to shape and own the strategic direction of a set of global value engagement service offerings. This role is hands on selling and project delivery, responsible and accountable for the highest levels of payer strategic insight, technical content, commercial acumen, client and financial management.

**What you'll do**

The successful Analyst will be expected to contribute to Consulting projects and guide their own development:
1. Consulting Projects
- Data extraction, reconciliation and presentation of findings to wider team
- Research material as directed by the project manager
- Deliver findings of research in MS PowerPoint, Word or Excel using company templates under direct and close supervision
- Assist Senior Analysts and Consultants with tasks as required

2. Operational Support and Development
- Attend company meetings
- Familiarize with internal support functions such as; editing, design and IEG

3. Business Development
- Does not form a core part of the Analyst role, but some involvement in BD activities may be required

4. Project Management of Consulting Projects
- Support the project manager by taking responsibility of discrete small management tasks, such as organizing editing or design support or arranging brainstorming

**About you**

Required:

- MSc level degree in life sciences or health economics
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to delivering timely high quality work
- Good analytical skills and numeric capability. Ability to understand, interpret and communicate scientific content
- Strong time management skills to include delivering to deadlines, managing time across projects and proactively raising issues in a timely manner as appropriate
- Excellent MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel - including formulas, charts) skills plus an understanding of how to conduct research on the Internet
- Excellent written and oral conversational and business English
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Service orientated mentality
- Enthusiastic, with lots of ideas but is also pragmatic and adaptable
- Eye for detail and self-motivated to deliver high quality work on time

Desirable:

- PhD in a relevant scientific, medical or economic discipline, such as molecular

biology, health economics
- Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace and major healthcare systems
- Some knowledge of essential consulting methodologies, tools and techniques ideal
- Knowledge and understanding of the dynamic P&R environment
- Fluency in Japanese or Korean highly preferred
