This position forms part of the APAC Deliver organization which is part of the Global Supply Chain covering Distribution and Transportation. The APAC transportation team is responsible for managing international freight in and out of APAC, and Singapore domestic transportation. The team also provides support to in-country transportation team on a need basis, e.g. RFP/RFQs.

**A Day In The Life: APAC Senior Transportation Analyst
**Key Responsibilities
**The Senior Transportation Analyst role is responsible for managing Singapore domestic transportation to meet business and customer requirements. This role will provide backup to the APAC Transportation Principal to perform those duties as required. The Sr. Transportation Analyst will work closely with APAC finance, planning, customer service, distribution center and country supply chain team to ensure business requirements are fullfiled in parallel with the goal of transportation cost reduction.
- Manage all aspects of Singapore domestic delivery to ensure service level is met and cost is controlled. This includes ensuring that shipment visibility and PODs is available and correct as per SOW.
- Support the Transportation Analyst on escalation and day to day management of the international transportation.
- Manage and review business partner’s KPI for trends, issues, opportunities and ensure action plans are identified, executed and monitor the improvement for Singapore domestic delivery.
- Work with the APAC Transportation manager and Principal to review business partner’s KPIs for trends, issues, opportunities and work on developing action plans that are identified, executed and monitor the improvement for international shipments.
- Run Monthly business review meetings with all business partners for both international and domestic transportation.
- Work with the APAC Transportation Manager and Principal on developing slides for the Quarterly business review meetings.
- Manage the freight forwarders’ implants to track and expedite shipments, provide support to the countries within the regions for all freight related matter and reports, and ensure timely submission of daily and monthly reports.
- Obtain and approve spot rates for ad-hoc lanes as per DOA.
- Provide feedback to finance team on Singapore Domestic Delivery budgets and review the freight spend with the business and finance team.
- Coordinate with vendors and finance for payment delay and disputes. Manage workflows in the system on payment disputes.
- Provide monthly freight accrual amount and review freight spend with transportation manager.
- Support ad-hoc projects as the business requires.

**Must-Have**:

- Bachelors Degree will be required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in transportation industry

**Your Profile**:

- Demostrated experience in managing freight forwarders and their processes.
- Demostrated experience in working with cross-functional teams on issue resolution.
- Solid understanding of incoterms.
- Working knowledge of transportation finance principles and accrual methodology.
- Working experience in APAC markets and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and orally, to wide variety of audiences
- Knowledge and/or experience in shipping of dangerous goods
- Good understanding on Certificate of origin (preferential and non preferential), and Letter of credit documents, transport claim process.
- Strong decision making skills; Sound judgment utilized; takes into account all relevant factors and information
- Passionate about the continuous improvement
- Strong results orientation (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.)
- Knowledge and/or experience in shipping of Cold Chain product will be preferred
