Groupm Finance Supervisor

**Overview of job**

GroupM is looking for a Finance Supervisor to support the GroupM/Agency Management. In this role, you will liaise with GroupM /Agency teams to oversee the day-to-day activities of the finance function and ensure the company’s finance is organised and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts. You will be a business partner to the agencies assigned, providing overall commercial aspects of the business, analysis and provide pragmatic business and financial recommendations to agencies.

**Measures of success**

**In three months, you would have**:

- You will be in pace with the GroupM’s value proposition and familiar with the company culture.
- To assist in budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly rolling forecast for agencies and GroupM.
- Assuming the commercial role of the agencies assigned, on track to becoming the trusted business partner to agencies

**In six months, you would have to**:

- You will be able to make recommendations on the agency’s financial performance and involve in the daily operation of the business and operational finance.
- Being a valued business partner to agencies assigned, advise and give recommendations to assign agencies to drive growth and KPIs.

**In 12 months, you would have**:

- You will be able to advise the management team on the strategy and deployment of resources in order to facilitate the management of the business.
- Ability to plan, strategize and execute mid to long term plan to improve the overall financials margins for agencies and group.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Business Partnering - Commercial, Financial, Operation to agencies
- Assist in Finance Operation (AR, AP, Intercompany and Credit control)
- Management of timely and accurate monthly closing, annual budgeting, monthly rolling forecast, quarterly forecasting and monthly financial reports of the agency
- Understand the business to support with full finance spectrum and day-to-day operations
- Treasury - Banking administration, cashflow projection and management etc
- Mentor and coach account executive(s)
- Manage and improve financial business processes, and ensure financial records are in compliance with accepted policies, procedures and external/SOX controls requirements.
- Assist management on continuous improvement projects as appropriate that may arise on an ad-hoc basis
- Support SOX, internal, external and client audit and coordination. A key person to liaise with regional team for necessary request
- Compliance orientated - clients contracts, SOX, compliances and etc
- Any other work or duties assigned by the management

- At least 3 years of in similar position, people, team management skill is essential
