**The Role**:
As Strategist for Brand & Communications, you’ll support multi-functional teams with data-led insights, cultural direction and map omnichannel approaches for both Singapore-first and regional marketing communication activities. You’ll tell us how to move and nurture a diverse group of audiences across a variety of topics and categories. You’ll help us create communications that change behaviour, shift perceptions, rally communities and generate persistent advocacy & brand affinity.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Access insights through fluent usage of our proprietary tools and secondary industry-level data sources, conduct desk research, commission in-depth quantitative and qualitative research.
- Put together a deeply informed point of view and generate creative/commercial insights on a brand, consumer segments, category, market and culture.
- Write clear and inspiring briefs that deliver a persistent strategic narrative from comms objectives to bottom-funnel executions.
- Develop communication approaches, map integrated paid, owned, earned comms journeys that reflect understanding of audience behaviours channel landscape and key trends linked to media and content consumption.
- Conduct workshops and create workshop stimuli to guide action plans that advance our client’s communications objectives
- Distill behavioural, brand, product and policy factsheets and key messages into campaign messaging architectures.
- Identify optimization and testing opportunities to improve campaign performance, creative execution, user experience, and customer satisfaction
- Synthesize cross-channel digital data to understand overall audience/creative/brand interaction and determine channels that will be best leveraged for communications.
- Collaborate with creative, account teams and strategy counterparts in other disciplines (Social, Content, UX/UI) to stimulate evidence-based ideation and help them connect better with desired behaviour change, consumers and culture.
- Maintain high quality of work across the entire strategy phase including drafting springboard briefs, audience personas, insights, narratives, strategic frameworks, customer journeys, channel plans, measurement frameworks and program KPIs.
- Foster collaboration and positive relationships with mid-to-senior level client personnel as a trusted strategic partner.
- Collaborate with the CSO and other strategists to proactively identify new opportunities for client growth.

**What we’re looking out for**:

- 3+ years of experience as a strategist, preferably from various agency environments (brand, integrated marketing, creative, digital, social, PR)
- Preferably with experience in integrated marketing communications
- Track record of strategic contributions to highly effective projects.
- Experience in extracting and dissecting data from industry research tools and sources such as GlobalWebIndex, Euromonitor, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics is an advantage
- Personal passion and interest in local current affairs and culture, with innate curiosity to learn about everything.
- Entrepreneurial and experimental in evolving the role of strategy in marketing and communications including exploring and embracing new technologies in data, insights and creative production
- Solid interpersonal and leadership skills, strategic thinker, and an ability to present in front of large groups and senior clients.
