It is thus one of the key functions to facilitate and drive Azqore to reach its ambitious growth targets by putting clients at the center of its activity, being attentive to their needs, bringing them value, and increasing their satisfaction.

Within Asia Operations, the Securities team is responsible for processing and managing the risk related to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate actions (income, cash), and asset creation and maintenance.

The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

  • The processing and controls of the processes within the Securities function;
  • Ensuring efficiency and productivity in delivering quality services to Azqore’s clients;
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely, and accurate manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily BAU

  • Successful applicant will be assigned to functions within the Asia Securities Operations team, including asset data management, settlements & derivatives, and/or transfers. Understanding of the core system and process workflow is essential;
  • There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant market and demonstrates front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) he/she is handling;
  • Proactively manages and resolves discrepancies related to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and abroad.

Others

  • Participates in Azqore Asia Operations projects, proactively drives and implements process enhancements and improvements where necessary.

Criteria for Application

  • Date of commencement: 01/02/2025
  • Minimum education level: Bachelor
  • Specialization: Bachelor degree, and/or professional qualification in Banking/Finance with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Settlements, Derivatives, and/or Asset Transfer processes. Experience in Private Banking is a plus.
  • Minimum experience level: 3 - 5 years
  • Required Skills: The Banking Operations Associate should develop around the following capabilities:
    • Familiar with financial products, market infrastructures, regulations, and operational risks;
    • Knowledgeable about SWIFT message types;
    • Good knowledge and practice of Office suite. Excel VBA macro knowledge is a plus;
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
    • Ability to collaborate, especially cross-border;
    • Rigorous and detail-oriented;
    • Results-oriented, adaptable and resilient;
