Global Transaction Banking Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Transaction Banking Manager to join our team at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. As a key member of our Planning Group, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of our TB business strategy.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer operations, banking systems, and back-end operations, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including IT and operational departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the planning and execution of TB business strategy, including service planning and deposit marketing strategy;
- Handling Department KPI matters with management, including communication with stakeholders such as the planning department or TBSD team;
- Managing Department Budget, including financial budget, HC, and expense budget, as well as other KPIs by providing performance reports;
- Working with the General Manager to support department-level matters, such as department events and meetings with senior management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong knowledge of customer operations, banking systems, and back-end operations, with the ability to discuss with internal stakeholders;
- Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written), which is advantageous for daily communication with stakeholders in Japan;
- Experience working in Transaction Business (more than 3 years);
- Strong customer-first discipline and a strong will to overcome difficulties;
- Business level English Skills;
- The ability to lead project teams in achieving desired outcomes;
- The ability to spearhead projects/initiatives while working with various internal stakeholders;
- Strong communication skills, proactivity, teamwork, and good interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary range of $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
