  • As a Medical Analyst, you will work primarily in our Evidence Development team to contribute to the collection, detailed analysis, and creative presentation of clinical, economic, and real-world evidence. You will be part of an expanding portfolio of projects in Japan and support initiatives with our Value and Access team, including health technology assessment submissions and collaborations with our Medical Communications team.
  • Responsibilities include delivering high-quality evidence and insights for diverse clients, including pharmaceutical companies and patient organizations. Your work will involve working closely with clients and colleagues from various teams, such as our UK and US offices.
  • Key tasks include literature reviews, synthesis, and real-world evidence generation, as well as contributing to projects involving the detailed analysis of data from clinical trials and the assimilation and presentation of this analysis in different formats.
  • You will also work on creative and pragmatic evidence reviews to inform clients' strategic decisions regarding clinical development or market access.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Conducting literature reviews and synthesizing evidence to support the value of pharmaceutical products or medical devices;
  • Collaborating with Statisticians to provide seamless scientific and technical support to clients;
  • Working on creative and pragmatic evidence reviews to inform clients' strategic decisions;
  • Developing protocols and statistical analysis plans for real-world studies;
  • Acquiring and analyzing data; and
  • Communicating methodologies and results through written and oral reports.

Requirements

  • ">
  • A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum CAP or GPA 4/5 or equivalent);
  • Exceptional written and spoken fluency in Japanese and English;
  • Ability to communicate scientific materials clearly in both written and oral form;
  • Excellent understanding of and ability to apply scientific concepts;
  • Close attention to detail;
  • Aptitude for and experience of scientific writing;
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines;
  • Previous experience in this sector, including in the Japanese healthcare system, is highly desirable.
