Considering a new role for 2026? Our team is looking to welcome a Senior Operations Manager. The Senior Operations Manager ensure efficient and effective communication occurs between Singapore Leadership team, Director of Veterinary Quality (DVQ), Practice Managers (PM) and Central Support Team. S/he provide effective feedback to support growth, development and performance of market associates. Effectively communicate and cascade key messages between the practice/ regional team and the market in weekly conference calls and market meetings, when necessary, to execute new or update programs and initiatives. Develop market/ clinic budgets and action plans to improve the performance of the Three Pillars of Mars. Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team. Ensure compliance with all practice protocols, policies and procedures and with all applicable laws ensuring the safety of pets, clients and associates; and the maintenance of clean, safe and organized clinics. Enforce all Practice standards, continuously building a brand in connection with all medical and non-medical standards. Build and support mindset of promoting preventive care of pets. Develop a performance development plan (PDP) and conduct a formal review of each PM/HD at least once a year. In lieu of a PM/HD in a practice, develop a PDP and conduct a formal review for each paraprofessional in that practice. Create a culture for exceptional engagement and community with veterinarians, paraprofessional and leaders. Support and grow each PM/HD to lead practice teams so the highest quality care and service is provided to the most pets and clients, maximizing efficiency, productivity and profitability. Develop, coach and support each PM/HD, this includes developing the skills and abilities of their paraprofessionals by providing clear communication on expectations and performance. Own (in partnership with P&O) the recruitment, hiring, coaching, supervision and mentorship of PMs/HD, veterinary technicians and paraprofessionals in assigned area/country. Support the DVQ in the recruitment, hiring, coaching and supervision of doctors in their practice(s), maintaining school relationship recruitment and outside sourcing. Develop, implement and oversee on-boarding plans for all new PMs/HD and paraprofessionals in assigned market. Provide each PM/HD regular updates to all internal communications, holding consistent practice meeting to share necessary business and medical information to ensure all associates are informed, engaged, practicing quality medicine and productive. Ensure appropriate productivity levels for doctors and paraprofessionals, aligning the number of veterinarians, veterinary technicians and para hours to achieve maximum success, consulting with DVQ when needed. Manage effective veterinarian scheduling, partnering with the DVQ if necessary, to ensure schedules in all practice(s) meets the needs of associates, clients and the business. Support the DVQ in maximizing doctor engagement and retention. Oversee all market PMs/HD to ensure paraprofessional schedules are effectively created and maintained to meet client and business needs; in lieu of a PM at a clinic, provide oversight for effective paraprofessional scheduling. Ensure market quarterly inventory and clinic invoice approvals in inventory management system are complete. Provide oversight of expense management for all associates (e.g. PMs/HD, paraprofessional and veterinarians) in market. Manage operational emergencies within assigned market. Other assigned duties. Minimum 6 years of senior leadership experience in veterinary, human health or service related industry. Prior experience with building operations excellence; managed transformation and development of teams (over a team of 60 to 150 people). Independent, self-motivated, capable to meet tight timeline. Attention to details and accuracy with strong sense of urgency. Ability to handle multi-tasks and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests. Good stakeholder management skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of delivering objectives in a complex organizational environment. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
