Job Opportunity: Data Center Operations Lead
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a data center, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, as well as a strong understanding of operational management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Direct and oversee the site operations team to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures.
- KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Review and Evaluation: Conduct regular reviews to assess the effectiveness of current processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvements where applicable.
- Activity Coordination: Ensure the delivery of planned and reactive activities within financial operating targets, utilizing the CMMS platform.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Hold tertiary qualifications in a mechanical, electrical or operational engineering discipline.
- Experience: Possess at least 3 years' experience in the operation of electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility.
- Skills: Be resourceful, analytical and problem-solving skilled, with good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of stakeholders and vendor staff.
