Airfreight Solutions Job Description

As a key member of our Product Team, you will play a pivotal role in planning and overseeing postal mail shipments. This involves monitoring their movement to ensure timely delivery and developing new routes to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Linehaul Shipment Planning: Plan and manage linehaul shipments to ensure smooth operations and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Global Coordination: Coordinate with overseas hubs to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • New Product Development: Assist the Product Manager in developing new products, strategies, and execution plans.
  • Procurement and Vendor Relationships: Oversee procurement and vendor relationships, including airlines and logistics partners.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the Sales Team to create value-driven solutions for business opportunities.
  • Liaison with Airlines: Liaise with airlines on shipment details and coordination.
  • Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with the Operations Team to meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in airfreight or a related industry.
  • Certifications: Professional Certificate/Nitec in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Access).
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with excellent planning skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of sales and operations, with frontline experience being a plus.
  • Teamwork: Experience working with cross-regional teams is advantageous.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends and travel overseas when needed.
