Ensure scalability and performance of core elements including UDM, UDR, AUSF, HSS-FE, HLR-FE and provisioning gateway. Lead and coordinate SDM core expansion and upgrade projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate with various Networks and IT teams to support business initiatives, work with Operations teams to resolve customers' complaints. Work with stakeholders in Product Development, Marketing and Engineering in the new service requirements compilation and clarification, and lead in discussions with vendor on the solutioning. Prepare and manage CAPEX forecasts and justifications for investments. Track project budgets and ensure cost-effective deployment strategies. Ensure network design and operations comply with 3GPP standards and local regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving standards in 3G/4G/5G core technologies. Integrate security principles into the design and deployment of core network systems. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to assess risks and implement mitigation strategies. Analyze network KPIs and traffic trends to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Recommend and implement optimization strategies to enhance user experience and network efficiency. Engage in commercial and technical negotiation with vendors. Skills for Success: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in mobile core network planning or engineering. Strong knowledge of telecommunications technologies such as 4G, 5G, SS7, MAP, Diameter protocols. Hands-on experience with mobile subscriber database management. Proven experience in project management and CAPEX planning. Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices in telecom networks. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Basic understanding of legal contracts.
