Purpose of the Role The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client's marketing needs are met. The role is viewed as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding and articulating client business insights and leveraging opportunities to move business forward. The incumbent will lead day‐to‐day activities, proactively identify new business building insights, manage, motivate, and develop the team, and work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that build the Client's business. Strategic Performance Marketing Be at the forefront of performance knowledge (SEM, Display, Social, Analytics) by keeping up to date with industry news and developments. Work with the Client Lead and Performance Directors, focusing on improving digital performance results. Build an understanding of the client's business and digital marketing objectives. Develop an understanding of target audiences' attitudes, behaviour and perceptions, using a variety of market information and research data. Demonstrate strong knowledge on digital media channels (Search, Display, Social) through optimisation and planning for your client's marketing activity. Priority for Paid Search (70%) . Establish an understanding of all areas of iProspect's expertise and the products/services we can provide to our clients. Help educate the client on digital strategies and tactics; engage them in the world of digital communications by demonstrating its direct response, creative and brand building abilities. Be a trusted, knowledgeable source of information and developments in search marketing. Help prepare for and attend sales pitches as required. Excellence in Client Service Effectively set and manage client expectations. Understand individual client needs (on specific projects and beyond) to help them be successful in their roles. Ensure all media schedules, forecasts and recommendations are fit for client and easy for the client to access and review the work (e.g., URLs, passwords, formats, conference call details). Ensure all campaign costs are accurately quoted and forecasts approved by the respective Performance Directors. Deliver media schedules to and approve by the client prior to campaign launch. Notify clients immediately of changes to project scope or project costs. Provide counsel to clients' marketing issues and opportunities, engaging Performance and/or Business Directors as appropriate. Maintain a solid understanding of the client's business, with emphasis on their area of responsibility. Understand the iProspect disciplines, ensuring accurate and informed communication. Show genuine interest in the client's business. Monitor trade press related to the client's business. Monitor competitors and their activity. Positively represent iProspect at all times. Key Experience & Attributes At least 5 years within Performance Marketing, responsible for planning and achieving performance‐related targets. Proven knowledge of paid search tools. Ability to explain engine algorithms and systems to colleagues to ensure day‐to‐day campaign delivery. Strong analytical skills. Enthusiastic and confident individual with the ability to interact well on a personal and professional level and to thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐pressure environment. Collaborative across teams. Analytical yet operates strategically, with an understanding of the big picture. Demonstrates entrepreneurialism and initiative taking. 'Hands‐on' approach to operations: plans, assigns and directs work, time, material, and people. Strong attention to detail.
