Our client is a market leader within the health and life insurance space. The International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) sales department, which provides international healthcare products and services to its network of brokers around the world, is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Singapore.
The organisation products are designed to provide health cover and access to appropriate healthcare in one or more locations outside the beneficiary's home country. As a key player in the Company relationship with its partners in Singapore, the IPMI Business Development Manager activity mainly revolves around business development (60% of your time) and advising and supporting our partners (40% of your time).
Under the responsibility of the IPMI Head of Sales (based in Singapore), you will be in charge of a network of intermediary partners in Singapore and of the attached high value-added customer portfolios, for which you will ensure the relationship with the support of a team of a Client Servicing team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- The development of intermediary partners in Singapore;
- You will also be responsible for the development of the company's business model and the development of the company's products and services, as well as the development of the company's business model and services;
- Maintaining close relationships with our partners in Singapore and monitoring their portfolios with the support of a team of sales representatives;
- Participate in the development of innovative and differentiated service solutions to meet customer needs;
**Requirements**:
- To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor in related field and at least 5 to 7 years of business development (hunter role) experience in International Health Insurance or Insurance Brokerage.
- You have a strong appetite for developing business and growing sales in your area of responsibility: indirect sales for Group insurance within our standard products portfolio.
- You have a real sense of listening that allows you to understand and analyse the needs of our partners and their clients;
- You have a good understanding of insurance mechanisms and are able to provide well-founded advice, based on your analysis and internal expertise (actuarial, medical, etc.);
- Ability to build and present an elaborate commercial proposal adapted to the specific needs of the partner or client;
- Customer satisfaction oriented, you pay close attention to translating the commitments made to our partners and beneficiaries into operational reality.
