The Opportunity
We need an exceptionalexceptionalHead of Engineeringto join our founding team — a leader eager toown day-to-day execution, shape architecture and engineering strategy with our CTO, drive the product roadmap, and build a world-class team to scale a product poised to redefine customer engagement worldwide.
This is arare opportunity to step in at the ground floor of a high-growth venture— with a clear path to executive leadership, real equity ownership, and the chance to shape both a new product category and the future of how global enterprises engage their customers.
What You'll Do
Manage Delivery: Run the daily engineering process, ensuring sprints, releases, and code quality align with roadmap priorities.
Client Deployments: Oversee enterprise deployments, making sure GLUCOSE instances run smoothly, securely, and with high performance.
Engineering Strategy: Partner with the CTO to shape architecture, technical direction, and the product roadmap.
Build & Grow the Team: Mentor junior engineers/interns, instill best practices, and lay the foundation for a scalable engineering org.
Codify & De-risk: Document architecture and processes to ensure resilience and reduce dependency on individuals.
AI-Native Practices: Constantly challenge yourself on which software paradigms are evolving with advances in AI and how to best leverage AI tools to improve your own practices and the team's productivity.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of engineering experience, with some leadership or team-lead exposure .
Strong backend/full-stack experience in SaaS or AI-powered systems.
Track record of shipping production systems in fast-moving environments.
Ability to translate vision into execution with operational rigor.
Strong communication skills and collaborative leadership style.

Proven delivery of enterprise-grade software — you've shipped complex systems into production, ideally involving AI/ML integrations that delivered real performance or cost efficiencies.
Experience leading in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments — you thrive in early-stage teams where tradeoffs and prioritization matter.
Ability to manage client-facing technical delivery — comfortable working with enterprise stakeholders and ensuring deployments meet both technical and business needs.
Strong engineering operations mindset — balancing speed and rigor, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones and metrics.
Solid grasp of enterprise software fundamentals — architecture, reliability, security, and compliance considerations.
(Nice-to-have) Domain exposure to industries like automotive, healthcare, or other regulated sectors where enterprise-grade standards apply.
