Job Title: Regional Tender Management Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tender Management Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire tender management process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate tender opportunities to ensure we are maximising our chances of success
  • Lead and coordinate the tender management process in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Review tender details, including requirements, opportunities and risk, to ensure we have a clear understanding of the project
  • Establish effective input methodology, pricing strategy, and milestones to ensure we meet our objectives
  • Initiate and chair tender kick-off and review calls with internal and external stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned
  • Consolidate and review data input to ensure our competitive edge
  • Coordinate final review and approval before external submission
  • Support the implementation of a successful tender by identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Establish and ensure consistent execution of the post-tender process, including monitoring success rate, competitor pricing, de-briefing with clients, and tracking the next tender cycle

Stakeholder Management:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and they are engaged throughout the process
  • Provide periodic, consistent, and constructive feedback to stakeholders to ensure they are informed and motivated
  • Maintain a fair and inclusive work environment that fosters partnership and solidarity within the team

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in tender management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
