Assessment and Results Director

The Assessment and Results Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of assessment-related processes within our organization. This individual is responsible for overseeing the administration of all assessments, guaranteeing their accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

This includes:

  • Leading and managing teams to ensure the smooth operation of assessment processes

  • Providing guidance and support to team members to enhance their effectiveness and professional development

  • Conducting regular team meetings to monitor progress and address challenges

  • Overseeing the scheduling, preparation, and administration of all assessments and examinations

  • Ensuring timely communication and publication of assessment details and codes of conduct to students, academic staff, and other stakeholders

  • Responsible for the integrity of examinations and tests by strictly adhering to established examination standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Undertaking the role of Chief Invigilator, ensuring proper invigilation and being available for all invigilated tests and examinations

  • Supporting students with special requirements or exceptional circumstances in relation to assessments

  • Overseeing invigilator management, including recruitment, training, scheduling, deployment, and payroll processing

  • Reporting and managing academic misconduct

  • Tracking, processing, and scheduling assessment extension requests

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of assessments

  • Implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in assessment administration processes

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies

In addition, the Assessment and Results Director is responsible for:

  • Overseeing marking, moderation, and results release processes

  • Ensuring timely resolution and updating of results records for outstanding results

  • Accurately communicating results to students, faculty, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders

  • Preparing mark sheets for each unit and accurate Board of Examiners reports

  • Monitoring and enhancing processes related to result validation, grade approval, and record-keeping

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in relevant technologies and data management systems is also essential.
