The opportunity
We are looking for a Regional sales
manager
who will lead our sales and business development efforts across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. You will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end sales strategies, achieving annual revenue targets, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners. This role demands a high-energy, hands-on professional with deep industry insight, the ability to travel across the region, and a proven track record of closing complex technical sales.
Job description
The Regional Sales Manager is required to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and secure new calibration and testing contracts for the company. He will also focus on securing contracts, managing client portfolios, and providing leadership to the business development team.
Key responsibilities
Sales development
identify and approach potential clients within assigned territories or market segment.
prepare and present comprehensive service proposals and quotations
respond to tenders and requests for quotations within required time frames
negotiate contract terms within company guidelines
Client relationship management
conduct site surveys to assess client requirements
build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients
address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth completion of contracts
collect client feedback and communicate to relevant departments
may require occasional evening work for client meetings
Market research & analysis
monitor market trends and competitor activities
identify new market opportunities and potential service offerings
gather intelligence on pricing trends and customer preferences
contribute to the development of sales strategies and approaches
Administrative duties
maintain accurate records in the company’s system
prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports
document client requirements and contract specifications
manage sales-related documentation and filing systems
