Roles & Responsibilities The role of an Operations Manager is multifaceted, requiring a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and hands-on operational management to ensure the smooth functioning of the business. Specific Responsibilities Individuals should Oversee a team of logistics and procurement functions Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and increase overall efficiency. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms. Monitor inventory turnover rates and minimize carrying costs. Analyze operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings. Plan and coordinate the transportation of finished furniture to distribution centers and customers.a Stay informed about industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
