Assistant Adventure Guide Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Adventure Guide

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and adventurous individual to join our team as an Assistant Adventure Guide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience in our rainforest environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all patrons leave with a positive experience
  • Articulate and proactively engage with customers in small talk to build rapport and confidence
  • Confidently handle all customer profiles, including difficult ones
  • Fitting and interested in outdoor activities to inspire customers' confidence

Teamwork and Safety:

  • Follow the Forest Adventure Safety Management System (SMS) at all times
  • Maintain the course and ensure it is safe for operations
  • Conduct safety briefings and follow Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements:

  • Passionate about outdoors and working at height
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic First Aid is a plus
  • Great listener, communicator, and team player
  • Physically fit
  • No experience needed; training will be provided
