Job Title: Structural Operations Manager

This role oversees structural works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications. It involves supervising and monitoring all structural activities to guarantee adherence to established guidelines.

About the Role:

  • Spearhead structural operations, guiding site teams in achieving project objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective quality control processes to ensure exceptional workmanship and materials.
  • Maintain open communication with RTOs, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Oversee inspection requests and forms, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for timely approvals.
  • Enhance collaboration with site workers and subcontractors to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Document site activities, records of inspection requests, and quality control reports accurately.
  • Provide regular updates to the Structural Engineer/Project Manager on work progress, highlighting any challenges or deviations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in overseeing structural operations within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with local codes, standards, and RTO inspection procedures is essential.
  • Prior experience in QA/QC checks, site coordination, and inspection documentation will be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary to manage site teams and coordinate with stakeholders effectively.
