Job Title: Master Chinese Chef

We are seeking an accomplished Master Chinese Chef to join our culinary team.

  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Chinese dishes according to established menu standards.
  • Cooking Techniques: Develop and master the control of heat for different cooking methods, ensuring precision and consistency in dish presentation.
  • Food Quality and Presentation: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and visual appeal, meeting company expectations.
  • Kitchen Hygiene: Ensure cleanliness and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage ingredient preparation, and coordinate orders with suppliers to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including HACCP and 5S standards.
  • Menu Development: Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed, promoting teamwork and professional growth within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Chinese restaurant or similar establishment.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (desired).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and protocols.
