Roles & Responsibilities NATIONAL YOUTH TEAM COACH (RIFLE) The Singapore Shooting Association (“SSA”) is seeking a Rifle Coach for our National Youth Team (“NYT”). The appointed Coach will be responsible for the following: Raise the standards of the NYT athletes so that they can compete and win in regional and international competitions such as the Asian Youth Games, Youth Olympic Games, Southeast Asia Games, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. Introduce air gun athletes to small-bore events effectively and consistently. Develop individual training programmes, organize and co‐ordinate the training for each athlete assigned to him/her, ensuring that all athletes are given the opportunity to maximize their potential. Submit regular progress reports of each athlete as directed by the Training & Competition Manager Conduct coaching lessons or any other task as assigned by SSA. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS · Possess Singapore Citizenship. · Possess full NROC Certification. · Possess International Shooting Sport Federation (“ISSF”) Coaching License OR possess technical knowledge in ISSF disciplines through competitive shooting as a national athlete. · Have prior experience coaching at any level for a minimum of two (2) years. · Should have an understanding of the athletes’ pathway, especially in relation to the development of talent, skills and knowledge. · Must possess good organizational and administrative skills.
