Job Summary
The Assistant Manager, Business Development, plays a crucial role in driving growth and success of PaCE's continuing education programmes, focusing on SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) and Short Courses. This role involves managing end-to-end programme delivery, developing business development and sales activities, converting leads into enrollments, and maintaining relationships with prospective learners and corporate clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages the end-to-end process of assigned programmes from launch to marketing and recruitment, ensuring on-target and high-quality delivery.
  • Prospects for and converts leads into sales, engaging prospective learners with regular updates and working towards sign-ups.
  • Responds to inquiries from prospective learners and occasionally calls on corporate clients to promote programmes.
  • Collaborates with Marketing Team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital and social media platforms.
  • Collaborates with Operations Team to ensure smooth course delivery and learner experience management.
  • Proposes and supports business development and sales activities, focusing on demand generation, lead nurturing, and client conversion.
  • Creates presentation materials to support lead and sales generation.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification from a recognised university.
  • At least 5 years of inbound and outbound sales experience, with consultative selling and key account management skills a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to convert leads into sales, demonstrated success in funnel and leads management to close sales.
  • Customer focus with ability to develop trusting relationships with colleagues and business partners.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented team player with collaborative work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/database management tools for tracking and reporting purposes.
