Roles & Responsibilities

The temp exec will be part of the institution's Industrial Doctorate/Industrial Master's (ID/IM) team under the Academic Programme Administration Division, and will provide administrative support to the ID/IM programme in the areas listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in marketing, outreach and social media activities for the ID/IM programme.
  • Analyse and process submitted claims from ID/IM partner companies, verify information for completeness, accuracy and compliance with policies;
  • Liaise with grant recipients and relevant officers to address queries or obtain missing documents
  • Prepare billing documents and work with Faculty, Finance to raise the billing request to ID/IM partner companies;
  • Arrange for Thesis Committee meetings, Mid-Point progress meetings and Thesis Defence etc.
  • Assist with programme-level events such as seminars, new student orientation, meetings;
  • Assist in any other functional duties or divisional work as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma from a recognised Institute of Higher Learning
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure precision in documentation and data entry
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A highly motivated individual and a good team player
  • Excellent coordination and organization skills, with a customer service mindset
