Country Manager

The Country Manager ensures Vonage’s objectives align with local market conditions, customer needs, and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong connection between the headquarters and the local team. Responsibilities Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and market expansion in the country. Ensure alignment of company objectives with local market conditions, customer preferences, and regulatory frameworks. Oversee sales and marketing strategies to optimize revenue and market penetration. Manage and monitor budgets, revenue streams, and expenses to achieve financial targets. Lead and develop a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Act as a liaison between the local team and the headquarters, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on key initiatives. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, regulatory bodies, and industry influencers. Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies to uphold corporate integrity and reputation. Represent Vonage at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in CPaaS, Telecommunications, or SaaS industry. Strong strategic thinking and business development skills with a track record of driving growth. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting. In-depth understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory requirements. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
