Description JOB DESCRIPTION Procurement/marketing of container-based UCO (used cooking oil) in the Asia and Middle East region. Logistics/Inventory/Quality management in/out to/from storage tank at Port Klang, Stolthaven, Malaysia. Engage with operator, legal/contract and mid/back-office PIC to ensure sales/purchase procedure including management of credit lines, payments and container scheduling to perform the above tasks. Assist respective Trader(s) for physical cargo deals/trading, including analysis work. Work with Traders daily to understand the market, trading strategy and apply basic trading skills and provide views. Carry out market research, information gathering, origination and developing commercial opportunities. Onboarding of new customers, monitoring and managing reports, KYC etc. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform trading strategies and decisions that are aligned to the Company's targets. Analyze client needs, gather market intelligence and identify industry trends. Ensure all trading activities adhere to relevant market regulations and standards. Other ad hoc assignments as necessary. Good degree from a recognized University. Possess at least 5 years of relevant working experience in international trading of energy commodities. Business experience in biofuels, biomass energy and/or next-gen fuels, carbon credits will be advantageous. Good and proficient knowledge in business and project management, brokering with strong track record of sales, origination and relation management. Basic risk analysis & management, hedging, economic evaluation, financial, credit and accounting knowledge of energy trading business. Good legal knowledge in Contract law especially in energy trading business. Familiar with vetting, preparing and executing trading contracts. Excellent English and Japanese or Korean language skills, with the ability to logically comprehend a written document, and ability to write formal business correspondences for communication with clients (Japanese/International/local) and other Mitsui Group offices (i.e. Tokyo and other offices in the network). Good interpersonal skills for internal and external communication. Excellent skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
