**Responsibilities**:

- Drive export sales and promote the Rice category across Southeast Asia and EU markets.
- Oversee origination and operational coordination from Southeast Asian sources, particularly Myanmar and Cambodia.
- Collaborate with the origination team to assess purchase prices by grade and packaging specifications.
- Track trade flows from origin to destination markets; analyze export/import data and monitor competitor activity.
- Lead market and product development initiatives for rice trading.
- Coordinate shipment planning, track receivables, and ensure efficient end-to-end sales cycle.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities for rice trading.
- Manage product testing, delivery of samples, and tracking of outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with agents, distributors, and customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with divisional goals.

**Requirements**:

- A recognised university degree in any discipline.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in agro-commodity trading; experience specifically in rice trading will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in any additional Southeast Asian language such as Burmese or Khmer will be an advantage to liaise with regional stakeholders within the SEA region for origination.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with maturity.
- A team player who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment.
