About The Role

As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with daily site inspections of Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
  • Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
  • React to Building Management System alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
  • Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company processes, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.
  • Conduct building walkthroughs, meter readings from UPS, PDU’s, and utilities.
  • Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.
  • Follow all safety processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Conduct routine quality checks.
  • Complete all required training to ensure job responsibilities are met.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
  • Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Training in a technical discipline with 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must meet physical requirements of the role.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills for calculating figures like percentages and discounts.
