**Job Title: Data Center Technician**

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine checks and maintenance on data center equipment, as well as responding to work orders and escalating issues to the relevant teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform periodic walk-throughs and validation of equipment status, including checking amber lights and other indicators.
  • Review work order requests in the queue and respond to semi-routine work orders in a timely manner.
  • Escalate and expedite orders to the appropriate teams upon standard operating procedures.
  • Rack and stack semi-routine customer equipment tickets.
  • Support datacenter standard operating cross-connect work order requests.
  • Support standard operating testing and installations of customer assets.
  • Support standard operating procedures of layer 1 cross-connect certification testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in IT/Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of IT experience or equivalent.
  • Prior working experience in a Data Center, Network or Server environment is an advantage.
  • Must be comfortable with shift rotation.
