Design Engineer Job Description
- Job Title: Design & Coordination Engineer
As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for coordinating design drawings with consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will review and provide solutions to technical problems, plan and monitor shop drawing production progress, and prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods, and C&S shop drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate design drawings with consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and provide solutions to technical problems.
- Plan and monitor shop drawing production progress.
- Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods, and C&S shop drawings.
- Resolve construction issues on drawings and collaborate closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as authorities.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with relevant design working experience with contractors.
- Preferably registered as a Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards.
- Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
