Project Assistant Job
Job Description:
a) Report to the Project Manager. Assist the Project Manager in managing certain section(s) of the project, as assigned by the Project Manager and shown in the organization chart.
b) The detailed duties and responsibilities of this role include but not limited to the following:
- Prepare a detailed programme and ensure that the assigned tasks are completed within the time frame as stipulated in the master programme.
- Implementation of all quality control, safety, health, and environmental procedures and requirements.
- Complete the project with quality to meet client's / consultant's requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Authorities' requirements.
- To deal with consultants and owners on all matters including solving technical problems, submission of drawings and samples, etc.
- To ensure that appointed contractors are able to complete the subcontract work within the schedule and comply with the technical and contractual requirements.
- Manage actual costs of work so that they are below budgeted costs.
- Manage subordinates so that they are following work systems, productive, and encourage teamwork among team members.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in handling technical coordination and basement construction is preferred.
