Internal Control Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing an overseas internal control system, conducting regular assessments, and identifying compliance risks. They will also formulate response plans, track their implementation, and mitigate potential legal risks.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in internal control & compliance, legal affairs, or auditing. They will be familiar with legal requirements and procedures, ideally in merger & acquisition (M&A) transactions and supply chain management.

The Internal Control Specialist will work closely with our international teams to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. They will also provide support for business decisions, maintain smooth information flow between headquarters and overseas teams, and stay up-to-date with changes in local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish an overseas internal control system and conduct regular assessments
  • Identify compliance risks and formulate response plans
  • Mitigate potential legal risks and review major decisions
  • Conduct regular internal control and compliance inspections
  • Organise compliance training for overseas employees
  • Handle overseas compliance emergencies and violations
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in local laws and regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Law, Auditing, Financial Management, or Business Management
  • Over 5 years of experience in internal control & compliance, legal affairs, or auditing
  • Familiarity with legal requirements and procedures, ideally in M&A transactions and supply chain management
  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese, capable of effective coordination with international teams
