Job Title: Compliance Specialist

Are you a compliance expert looking for a new challenge?

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee surveillance services designed to detect behaviors that may violate regulatory rules or internal policy and procedures.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to evaluate and address potential issues identified through transaction monitoring.
• Ensure all reviews and investigation conclusions are adequately documented.
• Perform trade surveillance checks across various asset classes, including equities, derivatives, and cryptocurrency transactions.
• Contribute to the design and development of systems to enhance surveillance coverage.
• Stay informed of regulatory updates that may impact the surveillance program.
• Develop and update compliance policies and procedures aligned with changes in local laws and regulations.
• Facilitate effective internal collaboration and serve as a liaison between compliance and other departments.
• Respond to regulatory requests from regulators and upstream providers.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in compliance roles with at least 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines without loss of accuracy.
• Proactive and reliable team player able to work independently.
• Experience with Nasdaq SMARTS and Athena a plus.
• Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diploma) preferred.
• English speaking and fluency in Mandarin an added advantage.
