What you will be working on: The Government Digital Product (GDP) Team orchestrates the digital transformation of government, designing and developing software applications that help government agencies serve people better with the right technologies and user experience. Product Strategy & Vision Collaborate with stakeholders and team to define product vision, speed‐to‐market strategy, roadmap and clear, impactful objectives aligned with overall business strategy. Develop a deep understanding of user needs to deliver impactful solutions. Define success metrics and constantly measure the impact of the product(s). Stakeholder Management Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders across multiple agencies and users. Communicate product updates, strategy and performance metrics to stakeholders clearly and effectively. Elicit business/user requirements and translate them into user stories. Continuously improve and streamline work processes. Product & Team Leadership Lead and build high‐performing cross‐functional teams that include UX designers, software engineers, business analysts and/or product managers to deliver digital products that achieve business outcomes. Work closely with UX designers to plan research objectives, organize activities such as product conceptualisation workshops, business process re‐engineering and usability tests. Analyse requirements to drive design or review of test cases/business model/processes. Work with Quality Engineer and business users to plan user performance testing of the system. Plan for UAT, coordinate and monitor progress and acceptance of UAT. Continuously improve products in a cost‐effective approach. Data‐Driven Decision Making Utilise data and analytics to inform product decisions, measure performance and identify improvement opportunities. Monitor key metrics and user feedback to iterate and enhance product offerings. Work effectively with cross‐functional development teams and business stakeholders to deliver a fully functional product that achieves business outcomes. Innovation & Best Practices Identify and implement industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve product effectiveness and efficiency. Foster a culture of innovation within the team and encourage creative problem‐solving approaches. What we are looking for: More than 6 years of relevant experience as a Senior Product Manager or Senior Programme Manager. Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking for product implementation and growth. Experience with web‐based and business process software systems implementation. Good written and verbal communication. Ability to work effectively as an individual or with a team to understand and interpret requirements leading to technical implementation. Able to engage stakeholders and manage their expectations. Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and prioritise tasks effectively. Demonstrate motivation to learn new skills and technologies. Good to have: Experience in Agile methodology and UX development environment. Knowledge of data analytics and experience working in an agile environment. Experience with focus group and workshop facilitation. Experience with agile tools like Figma, Miro and JIRA. Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional. Experience or involvement in modernization projects, including transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms.
