**What the role is**
- You will be part of the Programmes team of the National Museum of Singapore, which also manages the Changi Chapel and Museum and Reflections at Bukit Chandu. As part of the team, you will play a key role in managing and supporting school programmes at the museum, to create meaningful and fun learning experiences for students using our artefacts and exhibitions. You will also work with the team and partners to create and organise programmes that provide opportunities for inter-cultural and inter-generational conversations for our visitors, and programmes that seek to support the health and well-being of seniors. You are a team player who also enjoys interacting with visitors of all ages - secondary school students, families with young children and seniors - and are keen to explore ways to engage audiences on Singapore’s history and heritage, at the museum.
**What you will be working on**
- Manage school programmes for secondary schools. This includes liaising with schools, managing the day-to-day running of the programme and training of facilitators - Oversee school visits from all education levels, including the coordination of bookings, working in a team to ensure a good learning experience for students, and meet-and-greet with schools - Develop programmes and resources for students (including primary and tertiary levels), in collaboration with education partners - Support the running of inter-generational and senior programmes at the museum. This includes managing onsite and online programmes conducted at the museum and vendors and volunteers to present the programmes - Organise workshops and activities for youth and adults, relating to the museum's permanent and special exhibitions - Support the museum’s open house events for the public, during special occasions
**What we are looking for**
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience of running programmes for a variety of audience including students and seniors - Pleasant personality. Able to communicate with a wide spectrum of audience well - Good communication skills - both written and verbal. Proficiency in other non-English language will be an added advantage - Able to work in a fast-paced environment and on selected weekends - Resourceful and able to work well independently and with a team
