Responsibilities:
Manage the nomination / acceptance of the performing vessel including compliance procedures.
Monitor the day-to-day operations of the chartered vessels including ETA notices and cargo readiness.
Coordinate with agents for the arrival / departure formalities of the chartering vessels including berthing and un-berthing.
Monitor the day-to-day loading / discharging of the vessels.
Provide vessels arrival, berthing, loading / discharging, and departure information to the Chartering Manager.
Resolve charter party and bills of lading disputes.
Prepare laytime statements and negotiate demurrage, detention, and despatch.
Manage payment of freight and demurrage / detention if any.
Requirements:
Minimum A Levels / Diploma / Degree in a relevant discipline.
3 years of relevant experience with dry bulk cargoes.
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment.
A growth mindset with the potential to develop abilities and talents; willingness to learn on the job.
