Senior Mechanical and Electrical Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical and Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the mechanical and electrical services, including shop drawings and combined services drawings.
- Oversee the submission of shop drawings, method statements, and materials to relevant authorities and consultants.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Assist in developing project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Review and incorporate structural and architectural elements into project designs.
- Communicate closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Attend project coordination meetings and ensure that all stakeholders are informed.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and associates to plan and execute M&E installation works.
- Monitor project progress and ensure completion within schedule and budget.
- Verify sub-contractor claims for work done.
- Promote safety in all aspects of construction activities.
- Support and report to the Project Manager on all aspects of M&E services.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
