Overview
Brasserie Astoria Singapore is seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our Front of House team. Located in the beautifully restored Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall, Brasserie Astoria brings the elegance of classic Nordic brasserie dining to the heart of Singapore, infused with local vibrancy and a distinct bar program.
Our bar program is rooted in Nordic craftsmanship, Asian influences, and a deep respect for obscure, high-quality, low-volume spirits and ingredients. We aim to push creative boundaries while maintaining approachability, refinement, and a strong sense of storytelling in every drink.
Responsibilities
The Successful Candidate Will:
Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end or craft cocktail bar.
Be passionate about cocktail creation, with an appreciation for both classic recipes and modern innovation.
Possess a strong interest in Nordic techniques and flavor profiles, combined with a curiosity for Asian ingredients and local inspirations.
Demonstrate a deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and obscure products, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Work closely with the Bar team/Beverage Director to develop and execute a thoughtful and evolving bar menu.
Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service at the bar and throughout the dining room when required.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism behind the bar at all times.
Be a team player, willing to support the wider Front of House team and contribute to a positive, service-focused culture.
