Bartending is a well-known and fun work for those who love to socialize while making and mixing the best drinks. Learning to become a bartender is not that hard, but it is also not easy. Firstly, you must possess consistent and stable work experience and have excellent attendance records in your past employment. You are enthusiastic to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. You can prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks as ordered. Interacting with guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks. Regularly check guests’ identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age. Constantly restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. You are also responsible for the cleanliness of the bar area and ensuring there are clean glasses, plenty of garnishes prepared, and that everything is tidy.
Lastly, you must be able to work quickly, in fast-paced environments, and methodically—the ability to multitask and be observant. You are passionate about bartending, have a positive attitude, willing to learn, friendly and approachable—ability to communicate confidently and enthusiastically.
