Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The primary focus of this role is to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across various platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

  • In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • You will develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to supplement IaC.
  • A key aspect of this role is implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Jenkins for automated deployment processes.
  • Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams is crucial to ensure cloud solutions align with business objectives and security standards.
  • You will monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for cost and efficiency.
  • Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations specific to financial services is also essential.
  • You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • This role involves establishing and enforcing cloud governance policies, including cost management, resource allocation, and compliance.
  • Implementing robust security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and data, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security, is a key responsibility.

Required Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 8 years' relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience as an IaC developer with good knowledge in public cloud deployments and architectures.
  • Possess strong skills in coding, scripting, and building new IaC codes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to manage all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with senior cloud engineers and system architect in formulating technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
