In close collaboration with country, regional, and global teams, the Trade Lane Manager aligns local actions with corporate objectives, contributes to volume and yield targets, and steers product and network development initiatives. This position is pivotal in gathering and sharing market feedback, identifying business opportunities and enabling sales to win. The ultimate aim is to deliver on ambitious growth and profitability targets, ensuring GEODIS remains a market leader in ocean freight solutions. Lead Ocean Carrier Partnerships in the Region Lead procurement initiatives with ocean carriers in line with the carrier strategy for the trade lanes within scope and in close collaboration with country and global teams. Identify and share opportunities that will provide value towards Geodis and our customers. Maintain relevant carrier information that can be utilised in solution design to provide Geodis and our customers a competitive edge over competition. Empower and coach countries to utilise local relationships with carriers for mutual benefit and intervene when required to resolve more complex challenges with carriers' regional or head office.
