Clinical Research Support Role

The position of Clinical Research Assistant is a vital component in the development and implementation of clinical research projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing documents for regulatory approvals by reviewing and organizing information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitating project agreements with external collaborators through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Implementing and monitoring program activities and workflow by tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Facilitating program-related outreach events and training sessions to educate stakeholders on project goals and objectives.
  • Taking consent from subjects by obtaining informed consent and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Scheduling study-related appointments and managing calendars to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Completing data collection forms accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality data.
  • Conducting surveys or questionnaires to gather relevant information and feedback.
  • Managing study-related equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly maintained and up-to-date.
  • Handling queries from research subjects in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear and concise information.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Nursing, Biological Science, Pharmacy, or other healthcare-related discipline. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment is essential, as is the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key skills required for this role include budgets, clinical research, CRO, site management, healthcare, oncology, clinical trials, protocol, nursing, GCP, regulatory requirements, scheduling, and clinical monitoring.
