Legal Counsel

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Deputy Chief Counsel. This role will involve providing expert legal advice on various aspects of our regulatory affairs, including telecommunications, media, and data protection.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Law and be admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore. They should also possess at least 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice and/or corporate in-house, with a focus on TMT, ICT, and data protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic legal advice on regulatory matters
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Draft, review, and advise on contracts
  • Identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies for effective management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law
  • Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore
  • 6–8 years' post-qualification experience in legal practice and/or corporate in-house (TMT, ICT, data protection)
  • Prior litigation experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
