Event Operations Specialist ">

This role requires the ability to plan, execute and manage projects independently or as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, including experience in budget management and vendor liaison.

The event operations specialist will work closely with partners and stakeholders to support and coordinate event preparation and operations. This will include providing secretariat support to working committees.

">

Crisis management is also an essential skill for this role, with the ability to develop contingency plans when required. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Possess at least a diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification. ">
  • Candidates with minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in event management are preferred, but applicants will be considered for junior or senior roles based on years of relevant experience. ">
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, with good written and verbal communication skills to work with both English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. ">
  • Able to multitask, work independently and as part of a team. ">
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills. ">
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and perform under stress. ">
  • Willings to work occasional weekends when required. ">
