You will also provide early definition of manufacturing process flows and product cost calculations during the design phase in collaboration with the development and sourcing competences. Requirements Master degree in an mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Experience with advanced manufacturing processes like CNC Milling, CNC Turning, (Laser, E‐Beam) welding, additive (3D printing) manufacturing, precision mechanics vacuum, manufacturing automation/robotization, industrial 4.0 (operation data analyses). Knowledge of manufacturability of raw material manufacturing like stainless steel, titanium, casting, extrusion, high‐end plastics, vendor components market pricing and availability etc. Experience in reporting cost driver views, opportunities and risks.
