  • Working Location: Ubi
  • Working Hours: 6 days (Mon - Sat, 8.00am - 4.00pm)

This is a permanent role where you will work as part of our team in the manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate grinding and surface grinding machines to meet high-quality standards.
  • Perform milling and grinding for mold-making and plastic injection inserts with precision engineering skills.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Use surface grinding machines to achieve high-precision specifications and maintain manufacturing tasks on schedule.
  • Inspect finished pieces before the next process and conduct preventive maintenance on machines to prevent downtime.
  • Improve machining efficiency to boost productivity and reduce costs by implementing new techniques and best practices.
  • Achieve grinding precision up to 0.005mm by maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team's goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work area by adhering to safety rules and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience with surface and form grinding machines.
  • Preferably with a manufacturing background or equivalent experience.
  • Able to operate conventional grinding machines and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience in precision engineering and tool and die making is highly desirable.
  • Able to work extended hours if needed and maintain a flexible work schedule.
