Director of Environmental Services Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Director of Environmental Services Operations. In this position, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the environmental services functions, including Housekeeping, Linen Management, Waste Management, Pest Control, and Landscape.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital operations and management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop operational models, workflows, and emergency response plans, and will be responsible for managing an in-house core team as well as outsourced partners and service providers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating sustainable practices and reducing manual labor through technology adoption. You will be required to develop procurement and resourcing plans to support the environmental services operations, and will be expected to implement initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of the operations.

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in management of hospital operations
  • Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end environmental services
  • Team player, highly motivated, and action-oriented with excellent planning and analytical skills
  • Able to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and growing organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
